California Planning Foundation The California Planning Foundation (CPF) is thrilled to be awarding $72,000 in scholarships to 40 outstanding California planning students at the APA California 2021 Virtual Conference. The scholarship recipients come from diverse backgrounds and are selected because they are talented, motivated, and have demonstrated academic excellence at college/university planning programs throughout California. Criteria for the scholarships include academic performance, financial need, increasing diversity in the planning profession, and a commitment to serve the planning profession in California after graduation. Now, more than ever, the planning profession needs a new generation of diverse, talented planners. And now, more than ever, access to a planning education may be financially out of reach for some planning students. But you can help bridge the student’s financial gap and bring diversity to the profession by supporting the CPF Student Scholarship Program. Our goal is $60,000 for 2021 to continue to fund future scholarships. We have collected $30,000 thus far this year. Make a donation to the CPF scholarship fund, and together, we can continue to support our future planning leaders. No contribution is too small or too large! Your contribution is tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable under the law. You can donate here. Thank you!!
